The legendary golfer (Tiger Woods) was involved in a car accident in Los Angeles.
His car pulled over to the side of the road, crashed into a tree, struck a sign and rolled over several times. The athlete received multiple leg injuries. According to foreign media outlets, the rescue workers had to pull out Woods with the help of special equipment – the golfer was conscious. After the accident, Tiger was hospitalized in an ambulance – upon arrival at the hospital, he immediately got on the operating table.
According to police and rescuers, the athlete did not appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The causes of the accident are now being established.
Recall that Woods is the world’s first billionaire athlete, 14-time winner of the Major series (the most prestigious competition in men’s golf) and is second only to Jack Nicklaus (77) (he has 18 titles).
