Keanu Reeves will play in the film adaptation of his own BRZRKR comic

Keanu Reeves is developing a new project with Netflix. The streaming service will film an adaptation of the BRZRKR comic, co-authored by the actor himself. He published it with the support of Matt Kindt of The New York Times in early March.

In the center of the plot is the immortal son of the god of war, who lives in the XXI century and works for the US government. So he hopes to end his existence.

In addition to starring Keanu Reeves, he is also the producer of the project. Also, the streaming service has already decided to release a spin-off of the project in the anime genre. According to Deadline, Netflix intends to expand the universe of the comic book, whose artists were Ron Garney, Bill Crabtree, Clam Robins, and Raphael Grampa, who previously worked with Marvel.

No release date has been announced yet.
